HISPANIC ART & CULTURE
Promoting Hispanic cultural diversity and heritage through art
For immediate release: 7/5/2019
Orlando, FL. On June 2019, Hispanic Art & Culture was created as a non-profit to cover the increasing demand of high-quality Hispanic artistic initiatives that promote Latino culture and heritage beyond music. With the intention of bringing theater, paint and other forms of art with the collaboration of well-known artists, this organization is setting up high expectations within our community.
Founders Milka Montalvo, Juliana No, Mariana del Valle, Sheila Gutierrez and Mari Carmen Ordonez, are recognized personalities within the Hispanic community in Central Florida and are building this as a project starting in Florida but with the intention of national growth and exposure.
“We want to make sure our community gets the same level of high-quality art and intellectual initiatives they are used to seeing in their countries. Not only for them but to ensure we continue to pass it on to younger generations who are growing here” said President Milka Montalvo. “Our culture has so much to offer, from literature to paintings or theater. We felt there was a void in these areas and want to create initiatives that will fill them. This is why we are partnering with acclaimed artists from different Hispanic countries to bring cultural initiatives to our cities”.
Hispanic Art & Culture will soon announce their first big project which promises to have an impact in Orlando, Miami and Tampa.
