HAVE YOU SEARCHED YOURSELF ON GOOGLE?



HAVE YOU SEARCHED YOURSELF ON GOOGLE? DO YOU KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS FOR YOUR PERSONAL BRAND?



And by 'search yourself' I mean search just your name and last name and check the results on first page, image results and videos. 


Well, if you don't come up, as a business owner, sales rep or person who represents a company, you have a problem. 


Now try to do this adding your city. Still no results or only your personal facebook page popping up? Now, that's an even bigger problem. 


Google is the big leagues. So, if you don't appear on Google, you don't exist. Yes, your micro-world on IG or Facebook may know of you, but that is only going to get you so far. 

In today's world, a person's reputation and personal brand are highly tied up with their industry recognition (if a professional) and the company's trust and image. 


So what should you do? Pay for Google Ads and a Google Business Profile? Not exactly. This is your personal brand. It's about what I call SEO 2.0. I have a tough name to position...my last name doesn't exactly help and for a while unless I put it on quotations, it wouldn't appear. Now, you can find me and my company not only by name but with some industry and location-related keywords. And it's just the beginning. 

As a business, it's beautiful for people to see you on social media, but you want to appear there when they search for what they need on Google or want to verify you.
